     A Body Mass Index (BMI) reading is a number given to you relative to your height and weight and serves to tell you if you are healthy, too skinny, or obese. It has been seen to be very important to get your BMI, as it is an accurate number of your health.
    On another note, it is now being found that your specific BMI can be linked to finding out other helpful medical facts about the person, one of which being the ability to show relationships pertaining to Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is now being found that experiments of patients whom have had RA are found to have a significantly higher chance of getting remissions of RA based on their BMI.
    Studies have shown that people who have RA and suffer from having a drastically low BMI or a very high BMI being obese, have a extremely higher chance of remissions of the arthritis.
   In conclusion to these experiments, it has been found that a persons BMI should be included in the modifiable risk factors for poor RA outcomes in patients.
